In what languages does Sophia Editions publish?

The titles published under our publishing label are published in Spanish and English.

If I want to publish a book with Sophia Editions, do I have to come from a particular country?

Regarding the nationality or current geographical location of the author, we have no restrictions.

Can I publish a book on any topic?

As Sophia Editions is an academic publisher, we only publish literature resulting from scientific research.

Can I publish my work on Sophia Editions, even if my work is published on another publisher or platform?

Yes, as long as your work is not subject to an exclusivity contract with the platform or another publisher.

How much does it cost to publish a book with Sophia Editions?

The price of publication of a work depends on the contracted plan. The best thing is to contact us and tell us what you want. We will help you determine your plan depending on your needs and possibilities.

I want to buy a book, how can I do it?

As a publisher, we do not sell directly to the public. Authors directly publish their books on Amazon KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing) and Google Books; and readers can purchase them there.

What services do you offer me when publishing a book?

In the plans we include anti-plagiarism analysis services; basic text correction; cover design and layout of the book; ISBN processing, barcode; legal deposit management; impression; personalized attention throughout the publication process; sales advice; and promotion on social networks.

What cover will you design for my book? Can I contribute ideas?

Our designers will make cover proposals for you, depending on the topic the book addresses and you can choose the one you like the most.

When is payment for the book made?

Half of the payment is made when choosing the plan and the other half with the publication.

What payment method can I choose when choosing a plan on the website?

You can pay by bank transfer. In that case, we advise that whenever you are going to pay you contact us to advise you and have proof.

Does Sophia Editions issue publication certificates?

Yes, publication certificates are granted if authors need them.

Will my book be advertised anywhere?

Yes, your book will be advertised both on our website and on social networks (Facebook, Instagram, X, Google Scholar, LinkedIn).

How does Amazon pay royalties to authors?

You may also have the option of using Payoneer, which is a global payments company that offers online money transfers. Payoneer offers you the option to receive disbursements from your Amazon KDP sales into your Payoneer account and transfer them directly to your bank and local currency.

When does Amazon pay royalties?

Amazon pays royalties on sales sixty days after the end of the month in which the book is published. If you charge by bank transfer you must not reach a minimum royalty to collect and they will pay you what you have earned; But if you get paid by sending a check, if you live outside of the United States or Europe and do not have a Payoneer account, the money will be sent to you when you have reached a minimum of $100 in royalties.
