Description
This book presents a comprehensive approach to Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) applied from the individual to the community, aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles and sustainable habits in the most vulnerable populations in Ecuador, such as those in rural areas of the region. coast and mountains of this country. Many of the linkage and research projects will benefit from the proposal that is based on the Albert Ellis model. Through a multidimensional analysis, strategies that combine REBT with contemporary tools such as social networks and artificial intelligence are explored, seeking to effectively impact the urban, coastal and rural realities of the country. In the context of community psychology, the proposed approach highlights the importance of addressing irrational beliefs and dysfunctional thought patterns that perpetuate unhealthy practices in these communities. Priority is given to building interventions that respect the cultural and social particularities of each region, promoting resilience, self-care and social cohesion. In addition, the strategic use of social networks is proposed as a means for the dissemination of educational messages and the reinforcement of healthy behaviors, while artificial intelligence is integrated as a tool to personalize interventions and monitor the progress of communities in real time. This model offers an innovative proposal for community psychology, focused on collective empowerment and sustainable well-being, adapted to contemporary challenges.
