Sophia Editions, is an academic publisher based in Tampa, Florida, United States incorporated on July 1, 2024 and registered in the State of Florida, with registration number L24000306364. The Editorial disseminates scientific results from national and international researchers, in Spanish and English.
Sophia, is the Greek word for “wisdom.” The wisdom that is acquired when knowledge is applied effectively. Knowledge becomes wisdom when it is assimilated and transformed into a way of life and correct decisions are made that allow us to discern between what is convenient and what is not convenient.
Socrates himself already said it in his time: “Knowledge is virtue; and only if you know can you see the good”. In this way, Sophia Editions is conceived as a multidisciplinary initiative of texts in all areas of knowledge.

General objectives
- Promote the publication of individual and collective works by national and foreign researchers.
- Disseminate scientific production that is published through digital editions (e-books) and print.
- Promote links with national and/or foreign academic publishers.
To select the works, anti-plagiarism software and external evaluators will be used, which guarantees scientific, technical and professional rigor. All submitted texts are subjected to Open Peer Review. All this, in order to present quality content. Once the text passes review, we will offer three plan options so that our authors can choose the one that best suits their needs.
The Publisher’s main distributor and promoter is the Amazon portal KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing), where the author obtains 100 percent of the royalties with the exception of printing and delivery costs (Amazon will deduct between 20% and 30% of printing and delivery royalties). Likewise, our Editorial will help authors sell their books on Google Book.
Sophia Editions is registered and protected by intellectual property protection laws. The authors will retain the copyright and assign the right of first publication to the publisher. Third parties will be allowed to use what is published, as long as they mention the authorship of the work.
Sophia Editions publishes its scientific work openly under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license, which permits use, sharing, adaptation, distribution, and transmission in any medium or format, provided that appropriate credit is given to the author, source, and origin of the artwork. If the use of the artwork exceeds the legally permitted use, you must obtain permission directly from the copyright holder.
Publishing with Sophia Editions means gaining high visibility and academic prestige. Our works are indexed in Dialnet, EBSCO, and Zenodo, which ensures their global availability through open access, enhances their presence in academic search engines such as Google Scholar, and supports their integration with repositories like OpenAIRE. Peer review process

1. Reception and evaluation preliminary
